Wie heeft er ervaring met navigatie systemen op de motor
welk type ?? welke montage steunen.
ben me wat aan het verdiepen in deze dingen
Graag hoor ik jullie reactie.  ;)

Hoi Jan,

Ik heb zelf een beugel gemaakt voor mijn TomTom Go700 die ik ook gewoon
in de auto gebruik als ik op pad ga.Ik doe er wel een plastic hoesje overeen
ik kan uitraard alleen maar visueel rijden en dat gaat heel goed zo ben ik vorig
jaar met een paar collega rijders van Luxumburg binnendoor naar huisgereden
dan kom je op plaatsen dat je denkt bestaat dit nog . ;D ;D ;D

Ik heb een Garmin 2720 met perfect cradle op mijn motor.
bevalt erg goed

Heb zelf een mda compact wat ik ook gebruik in de auto
maar hoe doe je dat met een nokia met de GPS muis op de motor

En deze zit gewoon op een simpele fietshouder op m'n FZ1 stuur:

Zit perfect. Is er met 225 km/h nog niet afgewaaid.  :)

Voordelen:

• De quest heeft een mega lange batterijduur.
  Je kunt meerdere dagen doen met 1 acculading. Dus je hebt geen voeding nodig.
  
• Lekker compact. Je stopt 'm zo in je binnenzak.
• De meegeleverde Garmin MapSource software is super. Als je er van houdt om zelf je routes samen te stellen, dan kun je haast niet zonder.
• De software komt standaard met super gedetailleerde kaarten van heel Europa.
• 512 Mb intern geheugen, dus genoeg om de hele Benelux en meer erin te proppen. Geen gepiel met geheugenkaartjes.
• Waterdicht. Je kunt 'm gerust in een emmer water laten vallen.

Nadelen:

• Geen 3D (birds eye) view
• Geen bluetooth of dat soort fratsen. Rijden op zicht kan heel goed, maar met een oortje met een snoertje werkt het perfect.

Als ik iets nieuws zou kopen zou ik sowieso voor een Garmin gaan. Zij hebben beter begrepen waar het motorrijders om gaat dan de mannen van TomTom.
Tegenwoordig heb je natuurlijk ook de nieuwe Garmin Zumo's voor de motorrijder. Die zijn weer wat moderner (Touchscreen) maar tegelijkertijd ook groter.

Let wel op: Er is ook een Quest 2 maar de 1 is beter.
